Bishop Mark Beckman will be present for the 5:30pm Mass on Saturday, September 5th, to install Fr. David Boettner as our new pastor.
On Sunday, September 27, the Church will celebrate Priesthood Sunday, a special opportunity to thank God for the gift of the priesthood and to show our gratitude for the priests who faithfully serve His people. Vocation Ministry describes the day as a time to honor the priesthood and affirm its central role in the life of the Church.
Our priests accompany us throughout our lives, celebrating the sacraments, preaching the Gospel, caring for us in times of joy and sorrow, and, most especially, bringing us Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. This Priesthood Sunday, we encourage every parish to pray for your priests, thank your priests, and help foster the next generation of priestly vocations.
